Cannes, France

Next stop on the cruise was Cannes, France.

While the weather was crummy, we still decided to go off the boat and venture for the day, and I'm so glad that we did. Cannes is right on the water unlike the other stops on the cruise, so you could walk from downtown to the beach in minutes.

Things we saw:

  • Point de vue Panoramic View

  • Promenade de la Croisette

  • Palais Des Festivals Et Des Congrès

  • Musée de la Castre watchtower

  • Le Suquet (old-town)

  • Notre Dam De L’Esperance

  • Museé De La Castre (nice little park)

  • Hotel De Ville

  • Casino Croisette

  • Jetée Albert Édouard (hella yachts)

The ones bolded were the ones we enjoyed most! The Panoramic View in Old Town was breathtaking. Not too busy, but it is a quick 10 minute hike to get up there. Jetée Albert Édouard was the street right outside of the casino that had the most boujee yachts ever.

If you do happen to make it to Cannes, you have to try macaroons. While I'm sure there are plenty of places to find some good ones, we hit Jean-Luc Pelé and they were amazing. We tried 7 of the many flavors, all which were so good! You definitely can't go wrong with the chocolate one.

This was definitely in our top 3 of favorite cities we visited. I would have liked to spend an entire day or 2 to explore Cannes more, especially with Monaco and Nice being so close.

Next stop: Palma de Mallorca
