Next stop on the trip? A small island off of Spain called Mallorca!
Palma de Mallorca was an amazing experience. From the boat, we took a quick taxi to one of the main sights: The Catedral de Mallorca. Absolutely gorgeous. The views are especially spectacular if you for the lights to come on!Â
We stopped by one of the many gelato shops and headed on over to Hort del Rei, which was honestly my favorite part of Mallorca. It was so serene, the fountains were well maintained, and it had a great view of the Cathedral.
The entire island had a "luxurious" feel to it. The streets were very charming, the shops were all high-end, and everything was a tad expensive. After about 3 hours, we felt that we had seen the majority of the city center and headed back. Next time we will make sure to hit the beach!
Total list of what we saw:
The Cathedral "La Seu"
Hort del Rei
Parc de la Mar
Passeig des Born (a gorgeous street lined with live music, shops, and surrounding trees)
Old Town
Paseo MarÃtimo
Jardà del Bisbe
Food recommendations (from others):
Patron Lunares
La Ruta Martiana
Nixe Palace
Dry by Javier de las Muelas
Overall, really enjoyed Mallorca and would definitely go back for a luxurious vacation!
Next stop: Barcelona, Spain
